How should I go about approaching editors to get my articles publisheds?

Any feedback or ideas welcome.

It's very difficult to sell tech services online so I have to resort to good old fashioned bricks and mortar strategies!

There's thousands of small city newspapers in the country, a map would be good to locate these cities, then just do a search for their newspaper, pull it up online and contact them concerning your articles.
